Flush lashing socket, welded to the vessel deck, to be used with chains or webbing straps for Ro-Ro securing. Also to be used with chains or webbing straps for lashing of trailers and cars. It consists of a flush socket of weldable steel and a intermediate welded round bar, to which the hook of the chain with turnbuckle or welding strap is fitted in order to secure a vehicle. The breaking load is usually up to 36t.
