The rear corner post inner is a vital structural component of an ISO shipping container’s rear end frame, positioned on the inner side of the vertical edges at the door opening (opposite the front wall). It works in tandem with the rear corner post outer (previously discussed, 6.0 x 50 x 40 x 232 x 2400 mm) to form a robust frame that supports the double cargo doors, hinge blades (e.g., welding type with nylon bush), and door sill.
